The apartment is on the second floor. There are 5 steps to the main front door, and a further 34 steps to the apartment. The internal stairs have bannisters or rail all the way up and there is a half landing between each floor.
Within the apartment, the doorways are all 74cm wide.
It is carpeted throughout except for kitchen and bathrooms which have vinyl flooring. The hall area has some rugs in the same material as the carpet. These can be removed by guests if preferred.
Lighting is mostly controlled by standard wall switches but there are bedside lamps and occasional tables which can be moved around to suit.
The kitchen is a galley layout with storage on both sides at floor and head level. The work area starts at 1M width and narrows down to 70cm at the end. Worktop height is 93CM. Cooker and oven controls are well marked with large control knobs.
Provided with two sofas and an extending dining table with 6 chairs. The dining table can be moved by two people to a more convenient position within the room.
Family bathroom contains a standard bath, WC and basin with mirror. Bath edge is 57cm from the floor. WC has a single button flush. There are no alarm facilities. A rubber mat is provided for the bath to reduce risk of slipping.
En-suite bathrooms have WC, basin and thermostatically controlled showers. The showers have folding doors and a step of 25cm for access. There are standard light/ shaver sockets above the mirrors. There are no alarm facilities.
Beds are standard height divan beds. The two beds in the twin room can be moved around to suit guests needs. There are bedside tables and lamps beside each bed.
The bunk bed room has wooden bunk beds. The top bunk is reach via a short ladder, and is approximately 130cm from the floor.
